Banthrico Northwestern Federal Savings and Loan Association Bank – Vintage Art Deco Advertising Bank

Description

Unique vintage bank is from Banthrico Industries in Chicago, Illinois. Metal bank has red, marbled plastic riveted to it, with a thin, metal nameplate on top of the plastic. Federal Savings and Loan Insurance Corporation and Federal Home Loan Bank System insignias are embossed on the side. Coins are inserted on the bottom, and key is included.

Bank measures approximately 4” tall x 4” deep x 1 ½” wide. The plastic is cracked on the top rivets as can be seen in pictures. There is scraping and scratching throughout from years of use, but nothing to deter from the unique aesthetics of this bank.

This would make a great place to store your spare change!
