River City Floating Thermometer – Vintage River City Thermometer

Description

Very unique thermometer is from River City. Floating red orb attached to a chain has a red line extending on each side to display the temperature in both Celsius and Fahrenheit. Square liquid and orb plastic square is protected by wood on each side.

Thermometer measures approximately 8 ¾” wide x 6 ¼” tall x 1 ¾” deep. Thermometer does work and displays the general temperature, although not reliable for accuracy. There are a couple of small marks on the wood, but nothing to detract from the allure of this piece.

This is a rare and hard-to-find thermometer!
