Napier Rectangular Slide Locket Necklace – Vintage Signed Napier Slide Locket Necklace

Description

Gold rectangular locket hangs on a heavy 17 ½” gold link chain.

Earlier Napier locket is unique as the frame swivels outward from a hinge at the bottom. Inside signed locket is two sided, and according to the original paper that is in it, locket will hold one Kodachrome color transparency, or two black and white photos. Original photo that comes with the locket is on the other side.

Locket measures approximately 1 5/8” x 1 ¼”. There is a small jut on the frame to assist in sliding out, and the frame stays securely in place when closed. There are scratches and light wear throughout consistent with age and use, and there is also a small mark on the front that I couldn’t wipe off, but overall, necklace and locket are in good vintage condition.
